Designing Spaces Around How People Live.

At Hoop Pine, we believe every successful interior begins with understanding the people who will live in it. Before layouts, finishes, and materials are discussed, we focus on understanding routines, priorities, habits, and expectations. Only then do we begin designing systems that support everyday life.
People First. Systems Second. Products Last.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Every Project Begins With Understanding People

Most interior projects begin with layouts. Or styles. Or finishes. We believe they should begin somewhere else.
With people.
Every family lives differently. Every homeowner cooks differently. Stores differently. Works differently. Entertains differently.
The most successful homes are not created by applying a design style. They are created by understanding how people live and designing systems around those realities.
Good design begins with empathy.
Great interiors begin with understanding.
Open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas designed as a connected interior system
WHAT WE BELIEVE

Homes Are Systems, Not Collections of Rooms

A kitchen influences storage.
Storage influences bedrooms.
Bedrooms influence daily routines.
Living spaces influence how families interact.
When spaces are designed independently, compromises appear. When spaces are designed together, homes feel calmer, more organised, and easier to live in.
We design connected systems,
not isolated furniture pieces.
HOW WE THINK

We Design Systems, Not Just Products

A kitchen is not cabinets. A wardrobe is not storage. A living room is not a TV unit.
Behind every successful space is a network of decisions that influence usability every day.
That is why we think about:
  • Workflow
  • Organisation
  • Accessibility
  • Maintenance
  • Durability
  • Future needs
  • Before we think about finishes.

DESIGN & EXECUTION

Design Means Little Without Execution

Beautiful ideas only become valuable when they work in the real world. Every stage contributes to the final outcome. That is why we focus equally on:
Interior planning with detailed drawings
Planning
Technical drawings for interior cabinetry detailing
Detailing
Wood, stone and finish samples for interior material selection
Materials
Cabinet component being prepared during manufacturing
Manufacturing
Installation team fitting full-height cabinetry at site
Installation
Project coordination
Every stage contributes to the final outcome.
Execution is where trust is built.
MATERIALS

Materials Shape Everyday Experience

Materials influence far more than appearance. That is why we encourage homeowners to understand materials before making decisions. The best material is often the one that continues performing years later. They affect:
Durability
Maintenance
Ageing
Comfort
Long-term satisfaction
Wood, stone, finish, hardware and fabric samples for interior material selection
Materials should be chosen for life, not just for launch day.

OUR JOURNEY

A Journey Built Around Better Decisions

Hoop Pine began in 2012. But the foundations of the company were shaped even before that.

Before entering the interiors industry, the founder spent several years in investment advisory.

One lesson from that experience has remained constant throughout the journey:

People make better decisions when they first understand their options.
Over time, that principle became the foundation of how Hoop Pine approaches every project.
The goal was never simply to sell products.
The goal was to help homeowners make better decisions.
WATCH OUR STORY

From Vision to Reality

FROM ADVISORY TO INTERIORS

Advice Before Decisions

Investment advisory and interior design may appear very different. But both involve helping people make important decisions. In one industry, the decisions influence financial outcomes. In the other, they influence how people live every day. The process, however, remains remarkably similar. Listen first. Understand priorities. Explore options. Then, recommend the most suitable path forward. That mindset continues to influence every consultation at Hoop Pine today.

Listening Before Recommending

Every homeowner has different priorities. Some prioritise cooking. Some prioritise storage. Some prioritise maintenance. Some prioritise aesthetics. The right solution is rarely the same for everyone.

Clarity Before Commitment

We believe homeowners should understand the options available to them before making decisions. The better the understanding, the better the outcome.
Advice should simplify decisions, not complicate them.
WHY WE EVOLVED

Most Interior Problems Are Not Design Problems

Over the years, a consistent pattern became visible. Many homeowner frustrations had very little to do with design style. The real challenges were often:
Poor planning
Unclear expectations
Unsuitable materials
Inefficient storage
Execution gaps
Disconnected decisions
products
systems
Furniture
Functionality
Trends
Usability
Good interiors are created through better decisions, not bigger budgets.
THE EXPERIENCE STUDIO

Why We Encourage Homeowners To Visit Early

Most homeowners visit a showroom after the design process has already begun. We believe the showroom should be one of the first steps. Not the last. The purpose of our Experience Studio is not simply to display products. It is to help homeowners understand possibilities before important decisions are made.

WHAT WE ARE MOST PROUD OF

Trust Matters More Than Numbers

There are many ways to measure success. Projects completed. Years in business. Spaces designed. For us, the most meaningful measure is trust. Many of our projects come through referrals, repeat customers, architects, and families who have worked with us before. We see trust as both a privilege and a responsibility.
Referrals
families who share our work
Repeat Clients
who return for the next home
Trust
earned through every project
Trust is earned one project at a time.
Our Approach

What Makes Our Approach Different

Every interior company can talk about quality. Every interior company can talk about materials. Every interior company can talk about design. What ultimately matters is how those decisions improve daily life. Our approach is built around understanding before recommending and planning before executing.
01
We Listen Before We Design
Understanding people comes before creating solutions.
02
We Think In Systems
Every decision is connected to a larger purpose.
03
We Focus On Long-Term Usability
Spaces should work well years after installation.
04
We Guide Decisions Through Clarity
Good decisions come from understanding options, not pressure.
05
We Design Around Real Life
Every home should reflect the people who live in it.
The best interiors feel natural because they are designed around the people who use them.
WHAT WE BELIEVE

Good Design Is Invisible In Daily Life

Many people associate design with appearance. We see it differently. The most successful interiors rarely draw attention to themselves. They quietly support everyday routines.
Storage is where you expect it to be.
Workflows feel natural.
Materials age gracefully.
Maintenance becomes easier.
Spaces simply work.
"Good design is invisible in daily life.
You notice it not because it stands out,
but because everything simply works."
The goal is not to impress for a day. The goal is to improve everyday life for years.
OUR JOURNEY

A Timeline Of Learning, Building, And Evolving

Every project has contributed to the way we think today. What began as a focus on kitchens and wardrobes gradually evolved into a broader understanding of how homes function as complete systems.

2012 — It Began With Kitchens

Hoop Pine began with a clear focus on kitchens — understanding how people cook, store and use the space before designing around them.

Building the Complete Kitchen

Accessories and appliances followed, allowing storage, cabinetry and equipment to be planned together rather than as separate decisions.

Beyond the Kitchen

We expanded into wardrobes and then cabinetry across the home, applying the same thinking to storage, organisation and everyday use.

A Broader Interior Perspective

Wooden flooring and other interior products broadened our understanding of how materials and systems come together. We also launched H-SMART, our own home automation brand, extending that thinking into how people interact with their homes.

Today — Interior Systems

Today, Hoop Pine brings these years of experience together to plan and execute interior systems around how people actually live.
Every year has reinforced the same belief: understanding comes before design.

Our philosophy is reflected across every part of our work. Explore the spaces we design, the systems we create, the materials we use, and the projects we execute.

Let's Start With Understanding Your Home

Every project begins with a conversation. Not about products. Not about finishes. Not about trends. But about how you live, what matters to you, and how your home can support that.
Designed around people. Built around systems. Executed with care.
